Sorry but I am not wrong . Look it up I know what I'm talking about. The V6 needs at or around 1,700 (CFM) cubic feet per minute. I'm sorry but if you think that little A/C vent can flow that much volume of air you're out of your mind. My little Walmart $10 portable fan on my desk flows more than a little A/C vent lol. Lastly, just because someone has done it doesn't mean it works.

i said i have seen it done and it seemed like it worked just fine, your saying it can not be done. so yes sir, you are wrong.

Sometimes I wonder how people made it this far in life lol. WHEN in ANY of my posts did I say it couldn't be done? Anything can be done, hell I've seen people connect leaf blowers to their intake.

What I said is that no matter where you put the filter element, whether it be hanging in the window like your from West Virginia or through the firewall in the cabin floor, there is not enough volume of air for the engine to run efficiently, plain and simple. I don't know how else to explain that. If you read the original post which I'm sure you didn't since you can't even comprehend my own, this is what he says:

Clearly his MAIN goal is to try and draw either more air into his truck, or colder air, which for this purpose will NOT work. Now if his number one goal is keep water out and he doesn't care about efficiency and performance than by all means put it in the cab or at at least get a snorkel.

Once again I never said anywhere that putting the intake inside the cab would not work for keeping water out. Hell a 5-year old could look at the scenario and figure it out. What I said was strictly related to his flawed theory of somehow thinking this could work or even function efficiently as a cold air intake. You guys need to learn how to read better lol.

Oh whoops, I didn't read the AC part. The in cab intake works well when you don't have any windows.. not even a windshield. A lot of desert guys out here do it to keep the dust off the filter.
