haha yeah that makes sense. But no I got kinda lucky. And I love it. Seems like some people bought the car expecting some form of luxury and refinement. The car is neither. It is really a bare bones track car with more streetable comfort. I bought it to drive tha hell out of it and I enjoy every second of it. Haha by far the best stock handling car I've ever driven and easily the most fun to daily drive. I'm very happy having a second toy now. :D

So I installed everything and have one issue. The high beam on the passenger side is not working. I tested it before I installed it and it worked fine. Any thoughts?

The plug that connected to stock headlight on the driver side plugs into the wiring harness which controls the high beams. Should identical plug on the passenger side be plugged into anything? That is the only plug I have that is not plugged into anything.

Since the halo gets wired into the DTRL which is also the turn signal light, will the halos flash when using the turn signal?

Yes. When I did mine I wired to the parking light so they don't flash

Well, after some more troubleshooting with Andrew, I'm satisfied with the new DSP ballasts. After running them for about a week now, I have had zero flickering issues, and no failure to start, provided I don't have my headlight switch on when I start the truck up from a cold start.

I was initially not happy with this, but realized that I normally turn my lights off and on manually, except when running errands at night. But I've found that once the bulbs are warmed up, they will start with the engine, within a fairly decent span of time.

I've finally got a setup I like, and am proud of. Generally this much troubleshooting and issues would make me mad, but the quick and logical method that TRS uses to help its customers, made the effort on my part worth it. Thankfully, going forward, it should be a lot easier for the rest of you with the new ballasts and relay harnesses.

    Good job, TRS.

Looks awesome! I love the look of the newest refresh, makes the truck look more aggressive. I'd like to do something with my grill, just haven't decided yet.

Totally agreed. I was debating on if I should just do a shallow one. That wouldn't require any fiberglass work, but I'm not sure how it would look… need to do some more research. Buying one is out of the question too, most I've seen are $300-400+. Just like when I got a quote on having someone do my retrofit, $850 for doing the retro, and that didn't include any parts! So glad I did it myself.

Same. Mine total for everything would be around like $450, so deff saved some money there and I won't pay $400 for some mesh and fiberglass. Lol they look nice but when someone pays $1100 for the 2012+ grill is crazy.
