    Let's do it then! Wonder if your 35's will give you problems like one of the guys I wheel with. He has 35's on his pre-Taco 4banger. He is running 4.7 gears in the Tcase and is a manual and has trouble turning them occassionally.

    good luck man. that trail is rated an 8-9, so you better at least have one locker or you aint making it. everyone will be on 35s except brady who is at least dual locked and full armored
    really?? i know the truck is low on power but ive never been hung up and not ablt to turn the 33s in 4lo, i really cant imagine ill just stop being able to turn them just because i went up a size.

    this was the only time we couldnt even half climb something. all of us got stuck on out bumpers except konsta because he had more lift and his tucks in nicely

    so unless its thig tall and this steep you can atleast get a tire up it ;)

    He can typically turn them but he has trouble spinning them. He couldn't get up the hill with Konsta and I last week because of that.

    As for bumpering up, my front locker gives me the advantage of turning into stuff with my front tire so I may be just fine if you guys can do it on 35's.

    hmm, well ive said it before but i guess it its harder to spin them it will be harder to break shit as well. i guess ill see when i take it out wheeling


    and it will be one of the most challenging obstacle(s) of the trip im sure.

    you know anything that looks gnarly in pics is twice as gnarly in real life, so we will see what happens..

    SO FUCKING STOKED MAN! I love pushing my own limits. its usually how i ride every time i go out snowboarding and its how i just seem to tackle my other hobbies as well. If im not pushing my self and trying new shit im just not as content or having as much fun.

    Yeah! Hard to tell in thr pic but I think I have done similar stuff around here. Looks pretty doable to me unless those rocks are just ungodly big.

    I'm liking Konsta's dolley idea. Lighter than a trailer and my Tacoma is a 4 door so I could take a friend and you can still take Aleks and we'll fit. It would save us on gas at least.

    I know the feel man! I love pushing my rig to its limits and seeing what it can do!:thumbsup:

    i dont think your taco can pull my taco...well.
    your weight cap is 65 and my truck is 48 un loaded.

    the dolly is worst case scenario where konsta and either of us obliterates something

    im still hopinh aleks can get a diesel and i can get a 2 place trailer. we shall see haha

    or am i reading the dolly idea wrong?

    Either way I think we are having weight cap issues. According to Konsta the diesel is capped at 16000lbs and my rig and your will be about 11000 ccombied plus 8000 lb diesel plus a trailer...

    If we can find a dolley, no liability with a diesel and a trailer just the dolley and we'll have a lower center of gravity while towing through all the corners down there.

    i was saying the truck is only registered to pull 16000lb after that i have to get a dot # for it and registration goes way up. so i declined i dont think cops give a shit if it looks like recreational towing.. i can tandom pull with my car trailer so i can put a dolly behind it and just roll 10mph slower than the speed limit if shit really hit the fan down there. but i blew up a diff and still drove home so whats worste case for you guys??

    As Konsta said already, I didn't mean it couldn't do it, it's just not licensed for it. Same with my Tacoma. I have no doubts that I could pull the 1st gen down on a trailer let alone a dolly, with mine but again my tacoma isn't licensed for that weight.
