Hey Silas, you have any clue if the 2nd Gen CV axles are the same as 1st Gen?

But hey, there is currently a Tacoma at u pull and pay with 1 good cv axle that'll fit. at least, it was there a week ago...

 

I'm still deciding on what to do. Scott has offered to help me replace the boots but with the mess involved, I'm inclined to just order a whole axle. Big enough of a price difference, I'm sitting on the fence.

If it's the blue single cab Tacoma, then no. It's a 95.5 single cab Auto trans 4x4.

 

I'd just go boots.... unless you don't have any spares. If you don't have any spares, just get a new one and use the ripped one as a spare.

Yeah, no spares. It was my thinking, to have a spare around. Not sure if I'll ever be snapping them like you have but figure the other side boots will go and be nice to be able to slap in a replacement and reboot later.
