    This year stripers ran late. I got a 33" keeper and about 7 huge blues in my kayak off Long Branch the end of Nov. and there was a big 2 day blitz in Ortley Beach at sunrise early Dec. I got another keeper. My buddy is still catching a few shorts here and there now..

    By the way, just finished up my grill. Here's some before and afters..
    Pros: very cheap compared to other grills/grill kits. Fun mod to take on. Looks better than stock.
    Cons: a little transparent when looking head on. Small spots of glue showing threw (that's on me).

    Welcome. I'm not too far away. I'm in Cranford. I've got a buddy from South Plainfield that I meet all the time at Stage House in Scotch Plains. In the summertime, they have a great outdoor bar with a "pay what you want" bbq. In the wintertime, they still have a good indoor bar and place to eat. Maybe we can get a group to go there.


    We also still have Jose Tejas!
