The bolt on ones, do you have to drill all the way through the frame??

The frame is only 1/8 in or so.

This is true, unless you want the ability to remove them.

Not sure about your area but we charge 90 hr for jobs like that. I would figure an hour, maybe 2.

Anyone run a tranny temp guage?

I have a ultra guage and don't want to buy a scanguage. I know I can use the torque app, but from what I've read it takes the temp post cooler so that doesn't help. I've searched just seeing if anyone here has done it.

From what I know, which isn't much:eek:, they are all fairly similar. But BAMF makes good stuff, and is active on the forum so I would suggest him.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Well, I bought an SGII and there's no XCodes that I could find that work for my T-Temp. Oh well, it's another electronic gadget, plus I can read and reset the CEL.

I have these. I got them because I needed them right away and couldn't wait for any of the other companies. They have held up fine, but honestly have you ever heard of any that haven't? They're all plenty tough.

If you're going to get them, buy the ones that are not pre welded. I got the pre welded ones and the leg lengths were not perfect. Also you're then stuck with the angle they weld them at.

So you would buy the DIY kits?? There considerably cheaper.. But I guess more labor charges at the shop..

Yeah it will cost more in labor but its worth it to fit them to your preference. You might not like how far the pre welded ones stick out.

I've already got an ultragauge. There are codes i found on ttora, but you have to have the factory sensor.
