I know this isn't "life in motion" to most, but if anyone has spent sunrise to sunset out in the country there is just nothing like it.

Here's my submission unless I shoot something good tomorrow.

Orlando International Airport the day after Christmas. Lots of frantic running as people got off the tram trying to get to the gate to board their flights.

Okay fellas here is my submision.

To me, this photo is "life in motion" about as literal as it can get. To think that no matter what, life is moving in the cosmos as a whole. No matter what happens. How we move around the town we live in..and the state..and country..and earth..and the earth in the solar system..and the solar system in the Milky Way..and the Milk way through the known Universe. Its fascinating.

This was my first ever attempt at star trails.

haha well..it is a bit orientated towards the photo guys..BUT

that does NOT mean you can't get something amazing from a cellphone/tablet/or point and shoot camera. Do not be afraid to enter man :) creativity, lighting, composition and meaning and everything else weigh in just as important if not more important then quality.

show us what ya got

thanks man! i was amazed how it turned out for my first try ever! it is hard to sit there for 20 minutes and be all worried you might over expose it haha plus the clouds started rolling in..but it turned out cool!

I know what you mean! When I do them I usually set my timer remote to take a shitload of 30sec exposures and then stack them in photoshop. This way you're never overexposed and the sensor doesn't heat up like when you leave it open for a while

Yea I can't do that haha no photoshop for me. But it was like 30* so wasn't worried about the sensor too much haha

You can target areas pretty well on LR5. Not as extensively as PS obviously. But you can whiten teeth and delete pimples haha and brighten areas or whatever.
