    I did find a Victor kit for $30 more after shipping. I think I'm going to go the Victor route.

    While I have the "extra cash" I want to step up and get the better rig. Plus I know the local welding shop here will rebuild Victors and they carry all the accessories.

    Plasma cutters are nice working with light weight metals but anything over 3/8 or so they have trouble with. Even if they say it will cut 3/4 what they mean is it will sever it in two but looks like hell and one that will do this cost $2500. Unless you get one like mine at work then you can up to 1 1/4" no problem. [​IMG]

    Depends on what you are looking to do with it. I know more than a couple people who own one or more Hi-Points. I own one of their carbines in 45 ACP. I have never had a problem or malfunction with the gun and I shoot it on a pretty regular basis. I have known of people who have had problems with them and the customer service has always been top notch.

    If you are looking for a concealed carry pistol; I'd pass. If you are looking for a cheap range gun to shoot with; I'd get two.

    All guns have the ability to have problems.
