The OEM engine lasted 150K the last three engines were remans from LKQ Automotive. They absolutely SUCKED! No attention to detail. After 2 warranteed motors they sent the third, which once installed needed new lifters! The mechanic had to bill them back $500 or so in labor to fix an engine they had just shipped us.

    I won't do that again!

Congrats, man! 2013 Black Double Cab here as well and already got brush pinstripes on her. Once you get over the fear of 1 scratch, the rest aren't too hurtful on the mind lol.

I'll get there eventually. But she's shin in like a mirror now. But I'm already planning to get out in the desert to go shooting. I have some guns to test so no real choice. But I may avoid the brush for a bit longer!!;)

Welcome and great choice, love the Baja! I purchased mine new a few months ago AC with stock stereo out the door for $32.5. It had sat on the lot for several months right next to the dealership door but they couldn't sell it so dropped it down almost 4k. Must be because it was Barcelona Red LOL.

Be careful of this site, very careful. So far I have added sliders, topper, front and rear bumper guards, WO heated seat covers, UG, ripped out the rear seats and built an oak and maple platform for the guns and dog. And replaced the chrome grill surround with a color match and grillcraft and LC logo. Did I say be very careful of this site?! Rear leaf springs are next supercharger not so sure about... Agree on the scratching, hunting this year I didn't go down many of the trails I normally do but next year time for some natures pinstriping. And it is lousy with chlorophyll up in these parts. Shoot straight and often.
