Cleaning my truck up and noticed this. It appears to be manufactured this way. Can someone tell me if their is like this? It isn't cracked as it is way to nice of a line. Sorry for the pic size I wanted it to show up better.

    Thanks

probably just an access panel for something. I had a car with a fuse panel over there. Might just be to access wiring or the retainers for the dash

I'm confused what you're talking about... that plastic pin there hold on the dash... the side panel come off separate as its' probably bolted to the frame as the mounting piece... otherwise you couldn't get the dash outa truck if you ever needed to

My 2013 has it also, and only on the passenger side. It's probably an access panel or just a separate piece to make things easier on the assembly line during installation. Most likely the later since the flange is tucked under the main front dash component.

Nice access point for running electronics however the fuse boxes are on the other side of the truck.

Those wings pop right off.... Few bolts behind them iirc for the dash.

I ran my boost line behind the dash from pass side to drivers side and remember seeing some bolts behind that.

    Ur golden.

Is it behind the dash at the top and in front of it at the bottom?

Also, the front panel pops out when the airbag deploys.
