My wife told me to order seat covers for my xmas gift and I still haven't done it. I'm trying to see if these are the best option out there for us guys on the islands. Seems like it's still the popular choice. Any feedback from you guys on how you like them? I used to have the TRD seat covers and loved them cause they seemed more heavy duty than pure neoprene covers like WO's. But they don't sell them for the newer seats since they started offering the SRS as a standard feature in the seats. Let me know what you guys think...Thanks!

$250 w/installation if you order it from the local store or $239 online. Not too sure about the shipping but either way I think its 4-6 weeks wait.

I had both TRD and WO, Pros n cons are:

TRD - they are wayy cheaper, and good quality, only thing I didnt like is they always move and gotta be adjusted and not water proof

WO - are definitely popular for a reason, good and waterproof, easy to clean, care for, and comfortable. Nothing really bad or cons besides price.

IF YOUR really goina get WO, id wait for the TW group buy they have every once in a while, 20% off I believe

WO are so amazing. Spent over $550 on my WO after all the add on's and thats with the 20% off group buy even, but it was honestly worth every penny. Im kinda mad I didnt do it earlier. They are crazy ridiculous comfortable with the extra padding and look sweet too. Smell great and easy to clean and up keep.

I don't really care about protecting the stock fabric, but cleaning out dog hair and sand was a pita. Wet okoles put an end to that. They are also a bit more comfortable due to the added cushion, but they are wet suit material so they make you feel a little warmer. And a quote for $250? Maybe for the fronts only, you better check because I believe 4 door is way more than that.
The covers also have a cutout for the airbags, in case you were wondering.

    Thanks!

I'm not really the patient type. Unless there is a way to find out when the group buy is...?

Yeah I was wondering that. And, I only go the quote for the fronts. Wasn't too sure about getting the backs since I have two car seats back there. Or does that make it even more sensible to get them?

You could probably generate one by contacting Wet Okole and finding out how many buyers are needed for the 20% discount. Then just start a thread and compile the list as people sign up. When you get enough, set a close out deadline and then forward list to WO. People do their own transactions with WO. At least that's how I recall seeing it when I bought mine. IIRC there's generally one in the early Spring and one in the Fall; but I don't think that's written in stone. :notsure: I would think WO would be willing to work with you; they seem to get a lot of business from TW.

Putting them on under the car seats is your call. If you let the kids eat and drink back there, personally I'd get them. Easier to clean the covers than if something stains/gets ground into the seat fabric.

Under full disclosure, I need to replace one of my seat bottom covers because off my own screw up. So I was planning to talk to WO whenever the next group buy came up. ;)

I love the WO seat covers. I've had them in my truck for almost 3 years now.

Ive had my seat covers on for just under 2 years and the fabric on the drivers side is already wearing thru. I havent tried to wash mine, but friends who have done it notice the fabric starts to fray. I like the seat covers though.

Costco had a universal fit neoprene cover for buckets for $20. I bought a pair to maybe slip over my existing ones since my drivers side is very dirty….but after using them inside another truck, id rather drop the cash for another set of wet okoles. Theres also someone on here that has the arm rest covers that they make and sell…thats on my list sometime too

I just outfitted my wife's 2013 Kia Sorento for $500 and they covered the arm rest with the seat material as a part of the full kit for her truck. I am about to order a full set for my truck if you like go in for group discount. I think I remember getting a military discount too if we cannot get a big group to buy together. I going price how much just for my truck with military discount and I let you know how much. If cheap enough and you like me order for you, let me know. Aloha!:)

I'm down for a group buy with TacomaWorld if anybody else is serious about ordering soon. I need to place my order by 7 Jan because I leave for deployment in a few weeks and my wife is going to take it in for install when it comes in (usually 4-5 weeks from order date). If interested, please IM me and I will go down to Wet Okole's shop to haggle an order, Aloha! :)

Arm rest/center console cover is $30. Wen i ordered mine i went to da shop. Full piping, black wit da dark grey trim, came out aroun $630. Asked for military discount, da girl initially told me 10%, we paid half upfront an half wen we picked it up. Funny story, at first i never got discounted but wen i went back to pick in up an have it installed ibrought up da fact i never got da discount, she ran sum number an sumhow my total dropped to about $525. Idk how but im not complaining great seat cover an a great price ill take it any day.
