I will be back on the 2nd or 3rd and it looks like Dave's in front of you but we can't get them on for you. My welds are solid, ask Hoyal what happens when a car hits the sliders I welded on. Haha

Must be. I've never heard of a "Tacoma Death Wobble" before.

My exes truck had a death wobble problem for a while, except it was with 37s and it would happen if we hit a bump going over like 10 mph

It was a pretty funny thing to experience.

Modifications that drastically change the suspension geometry & therefore handling don't count. Stock Tacomas don't do that. Stock Wranglers do.

So yesterday on my way to the va I saw a 1st gen taco that looked like jello was what the suspension was made of. It was in Denver on 25 and every time the guy would switch lanes it wobbled like jello. It wasn't lifted or anything, I just think he had broken suspension and didn't fix it. I really wish I could have taken some video for you guys.

its a solid axle problem. Wont really happen with IFS unless there is a major tire balance problem or control arm is loose etc etc

It's times like this when I'm thankful for our tankless. After changing several 40+ gallon drum water heaters over the years I'm looking forward for the day this craps out and I can change it in like 15min and carry it upstairs with one hand to toss out. If you can convert your current to one (there are limitations for exhaust size/distance etc.) I highly recommend it. We love ours and if it can be helped will never own a drum style again. I mean, NASA uses this shit!!

I hear they're getting better than the ones they came out with ~15 years ago, but......

    1. Initial cost (not insignificant)
    2. Flue (Can't tie into furnace flue like regular water heater)
    3. Gas line (I have 1" to the furnace and water heater which may actually be adequate)

If I were building a new house, I'd definitely consider one unless I eliminated the furnace and all the ductwork in which case I'd probably just go with a sidearm off of a boiler.
