    I know I've already asked you this but do you mind telling/showing me how you did your alternator swap? I still need to get a battery. I've been lazy this winter. I did get some 33x12.50's though.

    Here is the top side of my alternator with the spliced wires taped up.

    Now the fun part!!!

    You will most likely need to remove the fan/clutch and pulley to reach the upper mounting bracket's bolt above the water pump. Here it is tucked in behind the belts nice and tight;

    Yea, it's in there somewhere.

    The lower bracket is mounted along with the motor mount and lower coolant hose retainer. I didn't have much trouble swapping these out but it is a bit tight in there. I did not unhook the hose.

    I was referring to the stock fuse block behind the battery. This stays hooked up to the battery, but the stock charge cable from the alternator to the battery is no longer used. The 8 gauge wire feeds the battery now.

    I have a blue sea fuse block for my accessories mounted behind the stock fuse block.

    Can't complain, but I did have a pinched nerve in my neck for a few weeks which sucked! It's fine now. I need to clean up the backyard so I can get the '87 back there and cut up.
