Half way through my 1st set of leg extension this came to mind "da fuck am i doing? this is lame" so on to the rack i go.
    135,225,315 warm up sets

    315 x5 pause reps

    385x 3 pause reps

    405x1 pause rep

    455x1 wrapped

    475x1 wrapped

    495 x1 wrapped

    calf raise 4x20

stiff leg deads with snatch grip 135x5x10

    glute ham raises 3x10

Also met a old timer who taught me a good trick, load the bar up 20% pass your 1rm and walk out, hold for 30 seconds re rack, suppose to train your CNS to handle heavier weights on your back.

^^^thats an old arnold and frank Zane trick. I don't know if it truly affects your cns, but it does affect your mentality. You load a heavy bar and walk out with it and hold it. Then when you move back down to your 1rm, it's x% lighter. Not something to do every session, but fun to occasionally mess with.

yeah, i always wanted to go reverse banded squats too to get use to heavier weights, but the rack at my gym has like no points to really wrap a brand around.

You need a mono lift to do reverse banded squats. That's some westside bb stuff there. I'd be too afraid of the bands tearing and the weight pinning my ass into the ground haha

yeah i ate it more times than i can think of on squats going for PRs, the biggest fear is dropping the weight on the safety pins and have the rack flip and knock me the F out lol

Skipped leg day again this week :anonymous:
keto is going good....kinda. I'm fitting back into my size 32 pants and have gone from 205 to 190 with hardly any muscle loss. The only downside is that my bench press weight has gone from 285 to 275, so I have lost some strength, but no visible muscle loss. Getting vascular as a mu-fuckka though, so I'm happy

I'd say the biggest help for getting my bench up is from doing negatives. When I couldn't get passed 250, I was putting on 275 and just taking it to my chest as slow as possible and my bench PR started rising...

my gym don't even allow chalk(i sneak it in and use it anyways) doubt they would allow chains.

Agreed something good to do every 4th or so bench session. Along with lockouts at the top.
Getting your body and CNS used to heavier weights is crucial.
