Just caught your build, love how your rig looks so far! I really like how those bushwhacker flares look actually, I can't find a decent oem replacement for mine. ( I broke most of the mounting tabs trying to take them off the first time) I may go with something like those. Just not sure if I like how the bolt heads show. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they set you back?

BTW, great snow wheelin' pics! Any vids?

I actually got the flares off here, I think I paid about $300 for them. i know they go on sale in Amazon every once in awhile for about $450. the bolts are completely useless so if you don't like them you don't have to put them on. Or you can get the non pocket style which doesn't have the bolt holes. I broke my stock ones too taking them off! An thanks :) I do have vids but none if my truck. I'll have to figure out how to post them. Do u know how?

Well... Kinda Bad news :( took it to a body shop and they said that the Frame on the passenger side is pushed back and that's why it's pulling to the right... So since insurance isn't covering it they said the repairs would be about 4-6k but couldn't give me an exact amount until the took it apart. Soo time to start saving. Looks like I'll be driving it like this for another month or two.

Damn, that sucks! Time for a solid axle instead so you can weld your own mounts to the frame?

    Nice looking Tacoma!
If you were a dude, I might be tempted to make a cliched joke about how you must be compensating for something with all of that DoubleCabLongBed-ness.
    Since you're a girl, it's just cool.
    ...what a double standard.

Edit: Ooh...just saw the broken nose on it a few pages back. That sucks.

$300 is a good deal. Good to know that they have pocket style flares tho, I'd prefer that look. These stock flares have been such a pain tho. I can't count how many times I've try jb welding the mounting tabs back on my originals. I think I may just stay on the look out for a used oem set. Seen them go for around $200 or so.. If you'd like to post videos, just upload them to YouTube then copy and paste the url into a forum post. Pretty easy once you've done it a couple of times.

Wow! Tough deal there! I'm very sorry to hear that. Reminds me of my first accident ever in my brand new truck with 12K kms on the odo. Over $12k in damage on the front passenger side from rear ending another car. That hurt so I feel your pain. :(

Frame Damage is definitely putting a damper on things. An straight axling it is becoming a serious consideration. There are so many pros an cons to it tho. So gonna do lots of research. Technically the truck is totalled... But since insurance isn't covering it they will not total it out. Which I'm kinda thankful for. I love this truck too much, starting over would be kinda depressing. Either way I'm thinking it will back to perfect in 3-4 months. Until then I'll still take it out to get my fix lol, but will be taking it easy.

Doesn't get much better then snow wheeling! I love it!

Haha ya I love my trucks :) it's fun having two great trucks. And it's awesome that my yota got in a wreck where it was the only rig to drive away even though it had the hardest hit.. I straightened out the bumper and ppl have been asking me if I got it fixed because there is so little visible damage. Can't go wrong with a good ol yota

We did Tahuya about a month ago, it was one of the only days in November that didn't rain. Lots of deep "puddles"...

Not sure on dates yet, I also have some things to fix.

Nice, well I'll have to keep a look out on any possible get togethers once my truck is ready again. I wanna get it fixed and at least sliders and a few other things before I venture too far.
