Is this a waste of time and an old topic, so I apologize in advance....

Do they resistors on eBay work at all? What about the ECU chip on eBay?
I would love some more power and gas mileage.

Do you think a resistor would actually do something? If it was that easy everyone would do it. But no its a huge waste of money.

Sounds like a viable option. What did you see as far as fuel improvement and power? Do u suggest a TRD exhaust and a aftermarket intake to help?

Gadget claims 15hp and a few mpg. I believe him. Sure, free flowing exhaust and a nice intake will help. Click around the URD site, everything on there is the real deal. It's the age old question; how fast can you afford to go?

Also just to follow along, I don't think anyone has anything that works with 09 and up. If I am wrong, someone please chime in. I haven't searched it out in a while. URD still doesn't have a SC kit for the 09+.

they make rear mounted turbos for the tacomas. not sure who or where...but i've seen em around.

let's try to summons Tor...maybe he can shed some light since he's gone through 4 engines, turbos, chargers, pulleys, and hos.

Put a diesel in it they are the only things that a chip/tuner will really help.
