Hey, sorry paul, just saw this. My phone wasnt giving me the updates in here for some reason. Rigid was open this week but running a skeleton crew, i guess my rep was not there. My distributor is emailing them every single day. We're doing our beat to make sure they're sick of hearing about you bar lol.

Yep. I need to show up to a few meets with people that have different pattern bars to tell the difference. Oddly enough, i have got more use out of the 2 20"s. Having them side mounted, deters the deer from coming into the road. Corralled 3 deer into the woods up a fence line away from the road. The light scared them.

put the station on a dead station in the 87 or whatever. AM might do it too.

Nah, makes me feel worse! This is a solution that needs fixing for sure. It is a simple thing for the manufacturers to use higher quality drivers/ power supplies toat operate on a frequency that doesn't emit any noise/ electrical pollution. There is no regulation currently on this type of thing. I was told a resister would solve this issue. Was not expecting to have to deal with this issue on a higher end item ... Makes me think back to the days when I had to use ground isolator caps on car stereo equipment.

Had my radio on, hit the lights and got the humm. Boy was I pissed.

Not OP's fault. Manufacturers should test for this sort of thing. Then use better components so this is not an issue, instead they cut a little here and there to maximize the bottom line.

My E2 40" has no issues, YET.

If you find the resistor you will use, let me know. I hope I wont have an issue but better to be preparred with a few for my SR 20, E 30 and SR-Q2s.

I'm going to try something first to try to solve the issue first. Having 4 wiring harnesses in close proximity *could cause an issue. Highly unlikely, but could. SO - I am going to split the harnesses up and ground the 4 SR2 lights in the rear of the truck. that way ONLY the positive will be run to the front.

That is my interpretation of another idea/ statement to ,me.

As for the resistor, will wait for the person that suggested it to disclose what resistance they are recommending. Normally it is a Capacitor, not a resistor.

Tried to call Rigid today, but they are running on a skeleton crew due to the holidays.

Wanted to ask 3 questions to them.

    1. If they could send me another screw for the bezel on one of the lights. (one was loose and had silicone on it, when I removed the silicone, guess it loosened the bolt now it has gone missing.)

    2. Wanted to know if I should keep the 2 6" separate, or if I wired them together, would I need to put a relay in there, or continue to have a single switch do all the work. Relay would be my bet, and preference. Just wanted confirmation from them one way or another.

    3. The RF noise issue, - I would gladly send them all 4 of those lights back for them directly to fix the noise issue. Putting in a newer version driver would resolve the issue for sure.

Decided to call back just to see if there was anyone there. RUss got me over to David and David was very helpful. Bolt coming in the mail and going to do some cutting and seperate the ground wire from the loom.

Also was recommended to add a relay if I splice the 2 6" together.

No company is perfect, but I do enjoy working with Rigid. Sure things might get done faster in china, but these put jobs in americas hands and keep the money in our economy. I'll wait for that any day.

So am I gathering that it's better to ground lights separately on a local locale or lug, or run ground in separate loom. I like tech flex and can easily do this.
