    Unless you have another use in mind than the tacoma, those are seriously overkill. You'll end up leaving them at home due to the weight and size. 4AWG booster cables of decent construction are perfectly adequate for boosting a tacoma or anything you should boost off of one. Now, for a diesel with 2, 3, or four batteries, those would be OK.

    i found some 0 welding cable and built my own with 500AMP ends for napa. They are 20feet long if you can find wire 2 guage wire and stay below 15 feet long you should be able to build your own for less. Last i heard you could pick up 0 wire at welding stoors for $4 a foot so $4X2X15= $120 plus ends those where like $20 a pair yours still cheaper and have way better cables. just puting that info out there.

    me, i hit the lotto. cleaning out a old house. i found a pair of BRAND NEW 1/0 Sears cables. long, thick.

    the best part? they are the most flexible cables i have ever found. i love them. the cables are white, so they get kinda dirty..but i am never letting them out of my sight. i bet they are 30 years old..brand new.

    There is no way I could drop $200 on cables, especially since they rarely get used.

    If they can sell them for $20 or $30 each to our group like Pugga said, I would be interested too. I highly doubt that would happen.

    I think a 20' 4guage set is sufficient enough. ~$30

    Actually I found a really old thick set at my parents I need to grab. 2 new ends and they will be better than anything currently sold in stores.

    yeah i was just guessing i didnt price shop.. i got my cable for free:D. but just saying it can be done better and cheaper..

    i wanted to be able to weld with mine. that and sometime is use my twin redtops to jump tracktors and other big ass diesels so totatly needed for what i use it for.

    when you work in a shop next to the farms and get sent on service calls to big ass tractors you need to be ready to weld a thing here and then so i keep rod at work i pack with me..

    Better off buying a nice battery . I have a 50$ HF jump pack and it's come in handy , i do wish I spent the extra 15$ on the one with the air compressor
