    Mornin' Cap'n.

Talk about the noise from the gen set reminds me of early days in my AF career and flying across the pond on C130s ... Could hear that prop whir in my head for a good week after getting off the plane.

Never could understand people's aversion to, or lack of understanding the concept of engine braking. We have a hill on my commute past Eagle River commonly referred to as Brake Light Hill ... folks think I'm lying when I tell them I never hit my brakes going down it, just gear down; even when I was commuting in little FWD sedans with AT I'd just take it out of overdrive. I guess my Dad taught me that much right. Just recalled my wife asking me what I was doing this past Summer when driving thru some mountain passes showing her Aunt and Uncle some of Alaska. She's watched me drive that way for 29 yrs. Guess some just don't get it. :notsure:

    Sorry Doc. :(

Guess that's why we call it hunting and not killing. Every season can't be a winner. Wise choice calling it off. I've done the get sweaty then sit still in the cold thing; NOT fun and can be much more dangerous than folks realize.

What's wrong with contact tiddlywinks winks? ;)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE!!

Darn Doc; was hoping to see a pic. of a bruiser! Oh well, he will be bigger next yr.! :)
I read about guys up in Alberta, Manitoba, etc., actually slipping into below 0 deg. sleeping bags while on stand. But that's just something else to carry into the woods. Could be nice and toasty with about 50 heat packs inside! :D
