I sae you posted in Oz's dakar thread. I thought you were talking about the front. I never really bothered measuring the rear. It was only about an inch higher than the front i think but my springs were pretty flat.

 

Trying to decide on my future lighting setup. Either a pair of lightforce 240s (9.5"), or a pair of 170s (6.75") and then in the future either add a 3rd flood or a single row LED bar below. Any input?

Came out of Home Depot with a full cart... To see a big puddle of antifreeze under my radiator . Son of bitch I yell out loud .. Pop the hood, just about to take the cap off and it hits me. I don't have green anti freeze . I have that overpriced pink Toyota freeze .. Close the hood and go home.

single row light bar. I got mine from sidetracked offroad and im really impressed with it

 

What size and how much? And by any chance do you know the mounting height? From the bottom of the mounts to the top of the light bar. If i go that route i would like some LF170s mounted to the hoop for distance and stupid brightness then a single row bar mounted below on my bumper for fill.

 

Either that or i should stop buying stuff that i think is cool, and buy stuff i actually need...like skids

 

Yeah, I just measured mine.

20 1/4" in front, 22" in rear.

I will have to get those numbers from someone with the OME 886/Dakar setup at some point so I can figure out if I have enough room to fit my truck into my garage with the roof lights.

 

20" SR for like $200. Ill have to measure that for you tomorrow and let you know

 

Lol. My guess is you would be at 23"+ and 25" with no armor. Plus bigger tires.

 

I'd be on the same size tire I'm on now (265/75-16) so the hub to center should be about right. I think I have about 5" to clear...so I should JUST make it...I believe my antenna is higher than my lights.

Although, I don't exactly have a spare $3,200 to part with at the moment. Stupid life getting in the way of fun.

Cmooonnn. OME full kit is $1149. Add some UCAs and you will be around $1500. It's just money, you'll make more.
