I gave her some time; looks like she hasn't found that yet! :D:D:D
    BUT SHE WILL! ;)

Watching the weather channel, it looks like we could get somewhere between 3-8".

Where's the short timer? Ken should be down to about a week or two by now!

I've thought of those and I know that they are used by some bowhunters. However, it seems to me that there would be a lot of movement and fussing around to get ready to draw the bow back. Before the snow comes, you can usually hear the deer coming and get ready to shoot. Once the snow arrives, the dang deer are right on top of you before you see them. Silent little beggars they are. :D

 Very true. Had a caribou do that to us this year. My buddy and I were watching a small herd on the left side of the valley about 1000 yds (or meters for you Doc) out. Not sure how long we were watching them as you kind of lose track (know you know what I mean), when we turned to check the right side there stood a nice bull 70 yds away. Line of sight that direction was about the same 1000 yds or better; no telling how long he was heading towards us before we saw him. Lucky we saw him at all. But he's in the freezer now, or at least some of him is still in there. ;)

Let me be the first to wish all of you a very Happy (and SAFE) New Years. It will be interesting to see what 2014 brings. No telling what the half-breed Socialist Imposter tries next! OOPS, the NSA is calling !!!

If you deer hunters want something to shoot (probably best in this subdivision with bow & arrow (DOC??)) come on down to my place. They're not trophy-size, but they're in my back lot ALL THE TIME. Ticks off the wife and drives her mutt crazy. They jump over our 4' wrought-iron fence at night and munch on the wife's plants. She's ready to kill something.

    Tex

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE..Great way to end the year,,,,,,,,,

    ROTMFF.....
Ohio Wife Torches Husband’s Truck After Getting Crock Pot and Cheap Lingerie for Xmas

DAYTON — Police arrested 34-year old Tracy Waters yesterday morning after she allegedly set fire to her husband Dave’s 2013 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab in a rage over her Christmas gifts.
“He gave me a slow-cooker and these red nylon crotchless panties with a push-up bra,” Mrs. Waters told police.
“The bra had tassels for fuck sake. Tassels.”
Police have charged Mrs. Waters with arson, assault with a weapon (“a 4-gallon ceramic crock pot with corn-on-the-cob pattern”) and using foul language in public.
Mr. Waters told the Dayton Daily News that he was excited about his gifts for his wife and doesn’t understand why she became angry and turned violent.
“Good food, good lovin’, and a good truck were all I wanted for Christmas,” said the 37-year-old warehouse worker sporting a swollen-shut right eye.
“Now the truck’s gone, the wife’s gone, and she even broke the crock pot.”
Police and fire responded to a duplex in the city’s southeast after neighbors called emergency saying there was a vehicle on fire and a woman was observed throwing armfuls of what appeared to be men’s clothing onto the flames

They're hedging their bet; gives them a lot room though, they could at least give you a 4 inch window :notsure:

Happy New Year to All the Elders! ;)

Is it alright to laugh?

Seriously....do y'all think there might be some underlying (as opposed to underwear) problems here?

On a brighter note....Happy New Year everyone. Hope you have a safe, healthy, and satisfying 2014.

I hear ya Tex. I watched a TV show the other night about a small town somewhere in Pennsylvania. The deer had taken over the town. They were everywhere and basically ate their way through people's gardens and shrubs. I bet Santa's little team of reindeer were not too welcome the other night. Too bad it's probably illegal to hunt from your bedroom window.

Happy Belated Birthday, Sue!!! And, that is some great shooting!!! I think people worry too much about the X-Ring . Unless you're shooting for points, center of mass counts...and being able to put 2 or 3 rounds into a center of mass grouping quickly is as good as it needs to be, IMHO.

Happy New Year, everyone!! I hope the coming year brings Health, Happiness, Prosperity and Love!!

Our weather forecasts are all over the place. Looks like we're in for 4 to 8 inches of snow. Not bad.
