Alright well 2 months ago i purchased a brand new 2013 V6 Auto TRD OR 4x4 DCSB. Been a great truck... outside of the pretty bad driveline vibs on acceleration between 15-25mph.

Today i made it up to the dealer to talk to them about that, a windshield noise as well as the fact with a measily 300lbs in the back of the truck it sag's like no other... to the point i get flashed by people thinking im running high beams.

Windshield is going to get fixed tomorrow. And the main service guy is going to call his toyota tech thats higher up and get word on where they stand on the driveline vibe TSB, as and i quote "the one thats out right now does nothing".

Now my 2013 TRD OR has a 2 leaf pack with overload.

EVERY SINGLE 2014 6 lug TACO from your base regular cab 2wd I4, to the most expensive setup has a 3 leaf with overload pack... this i found out after going to each new 2014 on the lot... THAT INCLUDES 2014 TRD OR's

So tomorrow i will report back what gets done... at the very least have a 3 leaf with overload spring out of the 2014's

New Toyota leaf pack won't help you, get an old man Dave leaf pack.

I dont want a lift period... i want to keep my warranty in tact, and i didnt spend 34 thousand dollars on a truck that sags like no business.

Its obvious they did a change from 2013 to 2014 as far as leafs so we will see if that fixes it.

Good luck. Going from the 2 leaf to 3 will help some. It bumped me up a bit when I did it a couple years ago.

Sucks you got a double cab 4x4 with 2 leafs, my reg cab prerunner came with 2 also, but i needed 600 pounds to hit the bumpstops instead of 300.

yeah yeah. stock springs are crap, we have long time established this...

But if i can get the 3 leaf + overload put on by the dealer for free to get me to the point where i literally dont get pulled over and questioned by an officer why im running with high beams constantly (which im not)... it will be worth it.

What are they fixing on the windshield noise. I seem to have a knocking noise when I fist turn on the heat at the very front of my dad against the windshield.

Why not add Firestone bags? No lift or anything, just extra support that's there when you need it.

TRD sport... thats why. Its quite common knowledge that up until 2014 the sport had a 3 + 1. Or if you got the TSB springs for a harsh ride due to sagging.

Im not adding bags or anything of that sort at the moment... not if the 3+1 will get the job done for my uses.

Well, I guess you'll have to trade it in on a sport then.

Tsb pack with aal. I've had 2500 lbs of concrete in the back without hitting the bump stops.

What are your uses? Those new TSB Springs will be slightly better but they will still suck.

Sorry you're having these problems. These issues are why you see so many 2012's & 2013's with low miles sitting on the dealers used car lot.

The offroad that I had prior I installed a 1.5" AAL. Had about 2000lbs by accident in the bed. Guy dumped a yard of dirt before I could stop him. Drove it home without hitting bump stops. My current truck doesn't have an AAL. Just a 1" block. I didn't like the harsh ride of the AAL.
