    Yep! They did a study on some crows like a decade or more ago in Japan and they would carry a nut in their beak and land on top of the street lights. When the light was red they would drop their nuts to the road below wait for the light to turn green and then red again and would fly down and eat the nut that was cracked open when the cars ran it over during the green light.

    Pigeons experimented on in a scientific study were more responsive to intermittent reinforcements, than positive reinforcements. They put them in a cage with a light and a button. Green light+push button=food. Red light+push button=electric shock. After a while, the pigeon only pushed the button when it was hungry and the green light was on. Then they started fucking with it, and randomly shocking it when the green light was on, and randomly feeding it when the red light was on. It constantly pecked the button. People are the same way. That was my theory on why the Army randomly mass punishes soldiers.

    That reminds me of the birds we have around here. I'm not sure exactly what they are but I think some are finches and some are swallows. They hang out at big traffic intersections because the moths gather around the warmth of the cars. The birds actually learn the light cycles. Light turns red and you'll see a bunch fly out. A few seconds before the light turns green they'll get out of the way. It's pretty amazing to see.
