    Those suck.
    Dark spot in the middle... look like a flying saucer.

    I've been picking up some GE 60w equivalent from Sam's Club for $10 each and they're great.

    BTW: I already had one Sylvania PAR-20 take a dump.
    Hit the switch and it flashes. Not a 30hz shimmer like the bridge rectifier blew... it's closer to 4 or 5hz.

    I've never been happy with Sylvania lamps and I'm glad to see GE getting into the consumer LED market. We've been using GE traffic signal indications for years.
    Incidentally, GE got into the traffic signal biz by buying out the Canadian company Ecolux.

    I have been using Sylvania LED PAR20 and PAR30 lamps for a couple years , including installing over 100 in the last building and only had one go out after 2 years

    FYI , there was a recall on one production run of the PAR20 lamps , you can check the production numbers on the Sylvania site
