No not at all! Use the plates but you will need to cut it back much further than that set of pictures shows. Thats all. I am gonna use the plates I got from Pelfrey Bilt.

Whose going to do the welding? Did you use a Sawz-all or Grinder or Plasma cutter? You have anything in your Build thread with the current 'cutback'

Found out on X-Mas there is a close friend of the family that is a Welder. Been doing it for over 40years. Downside, is he is a man stuck in his ways. Does not want to teach anyone the trade or do anyone any favors. No price breaks or anything. Says it is a reflection of his work and refuses to sell himself short.

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
Easiest way to do it is cut off everything past the bodymount. You can still use the cmc plates just need to bend it 90° after the body mount and weld it in.

Hey guys I just thought I would bring something up. I was talking to a friend. The one I bought my 35s from and that is weight.

My 285s on my TRD Wheels weighed in at about 80lbs each.

My Six Shooters and 315s weigh in at about 82lbs each.

    EDIT:
I think the Weight plays a big factor in wear, breakage, and MPGs.

Haha! Okay yeah I know that is common sense. The reason I bring it up is I don't think people pay as much attention to that as they should when they are picking wheels and tires for our trucks. I think weight should really be high on the list of criterion they look for.

I don't think people realize the differences it can make. All wheel and all tires are not the same.

When I said ware I meant on the suspension and drivetrain components.

Since this seems to be the best place for people to learn about 35s I think that is important to bring up.

Haha! See my above point as to why I brought it up.
