Most of them happen on I-80 from dumbass out of staters. Iowans are actually pretty decent drivers compared to a lot of states.

Yeah man, Im going to school for the 4 year degree status, i plan on going law enforcement in conjunction with my military career so i chose a major that interested me the most, not based on what kinda of job i would be able to get with it.

Went from Computer Science ---> Philosophy, quite the switch lol

 

Its so they can pick and choose what names they want working there with out getting in trouble for being racist or something...and the whole "environment" and the companies wanting to save money.

after 9/11 a whole shit ton of Americans who are Muslim, or the like, changed their names to normal white names so employers would hire them. I can only imagine the surprise on the employers face "Hello Mr........Eric ....Smith....."

If someone came up w/a database where we can create a profile and click companies that are hiring so we only have to make that dumb application once...that would be the shit!

 

... I agree, i would think the person who took the time to come in and show themselves would be better off than someone who applied online, remaining anon till they receive a call..

 

You have to apply online and then go in in person......that's how it works because usually a shit ton of people apply online and then only the ones who go in get their app pulled.

If its far away you can call and say "im 200miles away yada yada"

 

thats what the interview process is for

 

this is what i do. apply then follow up with either a phone call or a face to face with the manager. pretty much how i've gotten every job
