16" rims will work fine with Tundra brakes.

Hmm, then why does everybody seem to go 17's when doing Tundra brakes?

Probably so that there are no worries about clearance at all. I've heard some 16s don't work but no first hand experience.

Gotcha. For now my stock brakes have no issues so it wouldn't be worth it for me personally. Interesting info to know for the future though!

How much does the Tundra upgrade cost? Sounds very enticing! After I buy my suspension...

    Really?! Pretty neat.

I love his write up. I am slowly gathering parts for this upgrade. I already have a set of rotors.

I have tundra brakes and rotors. Will let you know if they fit my fj rims which are 16s later this month when I install them. I paid $260 for them with rotors and pads from tw sale section. Be on the look out they are always available.

My 16 inch wheels fit with my Tundra brake upgrade...seeing as they came off a Tundra. Ivan Stewarts.

Though I still don't have a 16 inch spare. If I get a flat on the front I'll have take off a tire in the back to put it on the front and then the spare on the rear lol

Swapped the stock CD/cassette in my 02 SR5 for the Pioneer MVH-X560BT Digital Media Receiver. Pretty painless install, though the wiring harness from Crutchfield had two solid purple wires for the rear speaker, instead of one solid, one black stripe, but that's not a big deal. Mounted the bluetooth mic down in the e-brake opening. I haven't tested that location, but I don't plan on using it very often if at all.

Too cold to work on the truck so I brought the wiring inside and made some decent progress today. Removed anything related to climate control, sound system/radio, ABS, and airbags so far.

Looks good! Not sure if you have a 90 degree elbow?.. For me it helped it sit in further into the dash.
