I am loving the new ride.
I've had the Tacoma since new, and its been without fault for the last 6 yrs and 100k miles. Our family will soon be adding a new member, so if my wife and I can fill a DCSB Tacoma to the brim while on family vacation, we will need something larger when my son joins us (April 17th expected due date) for our next family vacation. So I picked up a CPO 2010 Tundra Crewmax Rock Warrior.
I thought I would miss the Taco, but immediately the hp bump in the Tundra is addicting to say the least. As with all addictions it costs quite a bit to fund the habit (glad this is not my dd).
Like others have said, this community is by far one of the most generous with the free flow of information and members willingness to devote their time to others with less of a mechanical skill set than of themselves. I am glad I had the chance to be a part of it, thanks to you all.

Congrats on the new truck man but you would be surprised what you can fit in a Tacoma. We have stuffed me, my wife and 3 kids in our Tacoma and Corolla for the past few years. However we recently traded in the Corolla for a CPO Sequoia. I dont know how we ever went with out it. The amount of room and the mentioned horse power are amazing.

    Bone stock for now....
That 2010 Tundra looks a helluva lot better than the 14's, IMO. Congrats on the upcoming family addition too.

Did you trade the Tacoma or are you selling it private party?

Ha Ha I know, its needs more rubber, but those shoes are pretty frosty right out the gate. I want to get the 3/1 lift/level kit and run a set of 305/70/17, but I may have to wait until taxes.
What I really hope is if HomerTaco could make me a Raptor style mesh insert if I sent him a template to work with. Then I could build a fairly unique Satoshi grill, at least in my area:D

You will probably have to send him your grill because I doubt he has any tundra grills. But I am not going to speak for him

I traded in my Taco for a Tundra in 2012....I love the power and sound it emits...stop by the Tundra section sometime and keep an eye on the new tundra site in the works.

I traded it in, I got 17.5k for it which I thought was pretty good against their 29k and they had 1.9% financing with TFS (Toyota Financial). Those numbers were good enough to keep me in one stop to do all.

I will take a look. I have been browsing Tundra Talk and Tundra Solutions. My wife says those forum names are pretty weak, and said it should be TundraWorld.com;)

I don't understand this - how can you afford to have such a nice truck as a secondary vehicle and still worry about gas prices?

On the flip side, nice truck!

Same boat as you . I am also considering a Tundra , but there is no way I will purchase new . Have you seen how ugly the 2014 tundra is ? Think i will be looking out for a 13 Platinum with supercharger in super white .
Nice truck by the way !!!
