Fix it and get rid of it - it will never be the same again.

Make sure her insurance gives you enough to cover the diminished value of a damaged vehicle.

If the frame is bent, then you'll have a better chance of a complete write off - good luck.

So her insurance decided not to total it even though it has frame damage ? You need to get your insurance involved. I doubt the dealer will do anything .

How do you know the frame is bent? Just because the bed is pushed in doesn't mean the frame is bent.

Did not notice to start with but the cab is racked frame is damaged bed is destroyed that is just on the surface not to mention my back is jacked up I waited 10 years to buy this truck I if they fixed it what do you think the carfax will look like either way I am going to start over the adjuster said a frame for a 2014 was impossible to find and there is the value of the new motor etc that can be sold. This will give me time to find another one.

That sucks! I too would be sick. Hopefully they decide to total it. These trucks hold their value enough though that these insurance companies will dump tons of money into them and fix them. Maybe you can nudge them towards a total.

You are the only one to mention diminished value The tow truck driver has a repair shop he told me the next day the frame is bent but they probably would not total it as we looked closer at the dealer the bed pushed damaged the cab all the way across and the bed is racked the biatch hit me between I am guessing 45+ mph wide open no braking BAM the guy at the dealer told me to look up diminished value and if necessary get a lawyer to help me with that also she hurt me just stay tuned.

Time to start playing the broken record: "I will not accept that truck if it has been repaired. I want a new truck!"

Repeat as many times as necessary.

If they fix it and you have no choice to keep it you absolutely need to get a diminished value check. I'm guessing on a truck like yours the perceived value decrease in what you could sell it for with a clean car fax verses one with damage like you describe would be no less then 4500 maybe as much as 7,000. You may have to get a lawyer but another good way to go is ask the dealer for a trade in quote on your truck with the damage and let them know what you are doing and they should give you one and maybe even a hypothetical quote as if the truck were never damaged. This would give you a place to start.

Tell your/their insurance company you DO NOT want a truck that has been rebuilt by a bodyshop.

    ...Less that 100 miles? that's a shame.

Sorry to hear of your world of shit OP :(
