Ha! Nice man! I did a shit ton of welding today installing frame plates on a buddies rig. Rear shocks get relocated tomorrow.

How much snow is out there now. I should be out there sometime next week or at the latest the weekend.

 

We got just enough snow here to give the Andymod 2.0 a go, it's nice being able to turn VSC/TRAC off in 2wd or 4hi.

 

Well looks like my cold weather clothing is going to be packed at the top of the pile. I would love to hit up happy jack. I was never able to when I was out there last year.

 

Yeah having the VSC kill the throttle trying to get through snow sucked.

 

Went to vedauwoo once but it was just to the hiking area. In the cab i have some hand warmers but I will probably add a blanket or two.

 

This is at Vedauwoo in October, trails were a little more interesting due to snow melt off.

 

I got stuck up there three seperate times my freshman year.
First was a dark pizza and beverage party and I drove 3/4 thru this huge drift of snow and finally came to a stop buried to my frame with no shover. Had to have a techer pull me out. Second was a 4 foot crusted drift that I drove in on over the top with no issues. Several hours later I came back out and broke thru the crust and buried to my frame. Had my room mate pull me out with his 3/4 454 Chevy manual tranny And a Jeep all three chained together. Third time was with a lady friend and was busting drifts and got sucked into a drifted over ditch. Dug myself out with a shovel after finally getting that 3rd tire on the main part of the road.

 

Odd, I never had any service issues in the Vedauwoo area. It was rather good actually.

Speaking of Vedauwoo, anyone know what that bunker looking thing is/was?

 

I think they were just military look outs.

Been there, climbed that.



There are all sorts of cool things out there. Supposedly there are uranium mines out there too.

 

Well boys, Its official. I am 100% coming out there by Jan 13th. Got off the phone with UWYO today and I am back in! I will try to bring the warmer Florida weather too.
