Hell no, me neither. The grandparents watched the kids overnight and I went crazy last night. Partying until 4am. I woke up 45 min after I was supposed to be in Estes.

The room was my in laws who had left for the airport at 2am, why or how we wound up in there i have no clue, we had somehow both lost the keycards to our room where all our stuff was. At around 4 I woke up to someone knocking on door of the room next door, a woman entered, they talked about money then one guy left i think, we heard em go at it for awhile then another guy came back and he started the magic all over again, Brooke and I heard enough and so i went to the front desk to get a new key to our room and as I was walking back up a chick was coming out of the room next door. It took all my willpower to not laugh so hard.

Went up ironclads. A little rock ledge that probably is pretty easy in the dry caused me trouble with the snow and ice. I got my passenger taillight up against a tree. Winched up and over.

Also learned that you shouldn't drive around with your drum disengaged. Wire rope was a bit messy and gave me some trouble. When I got home I pulled the whole thing out and wound it back up all tight and neat. Synthetic would be nice. Too bad 100ft costs about what I paid for the winch

Oh I hear you on the price. I'm saving up for synthetic. It's about time for me to replace the wire rope I have on mine. I don't even know if it would hold up on another winching. It has been pinched so many times, I need to retire it.

Wow! Sounds like an eventful run though! I wish I had gotten my ass up a little earlier. :(

Got some brand new wire from my Smittybilt for sale if you need to replace it on the cheap.

Truth be told, it wasn't that exciting of a run and I probably would have been slightly disappointed normally. I'm really glad I went however as I've been itching to validate my recovery equipment and my compressor setup. Plus it's a good way to kick off the new year
