That's a good idea, I batch edit with actions to convert the color profile idk why I didn't think of doing that for the watermark. I need to upgrade LR and figure out how to watermark from there since the newer versions have layers. I keep my watermark layer on top of everything else.

I guess I'll post this one I took a few years ago. Sorry for the bad quality, it's from Facebook BA50D485-31FB-4000-81A6-109639CE0A6A_000ac3eb8104e65ce23c56128b62df2b80a78919.jpg

Well I guess I might be getting the vello wireless shutterboss. I don't really want to spend the $80 on it, but my brother has it and says it's pretty amazing.

When the flash is on you are limited to 1/200 or 1/250 sec due to flash sync speed. If your flash and camera support it you can do high speed sync all the way to 1/8000 of a sec.

I believe that duck you are trying to identify is a redhead.

What's the reasoning for staying so high?

Ah, Okay. I see what you're saying. To stop any sort of motion you need to bump up ISO for a faster shutter speed, thus sacrificing having some color grain. Usually I try not to go above 400. I try to stay at 100 if I can.

I see you're using a t2i, it seems to handle noise pretty well, especially if you have the in can notice reduction on. WAY BETTER, than my D90

Yeah sounds about right. I have that when I'm taking panning shots like this.

Thanks man! I actually know a bunch of the pro guys in formula drift, I sent Vaughn a print of this actually, and another of Ryan Tuerck and Chris Forsberg to each of them. They come out a few times a year to englishtown raceway for specialized drift events and they're a blast to be around.

I know what you mean about that haha, I just use my tripod as a mono pod by expanding one leg, got a fluid video head on top of the legs, also great for panning.

You should try around 1/100 or so for those shots while panning. They come out awesome but are a PITA.

This is the sharpest one I could get, still nowhere near what I wanted.

Took a few kitty shots this morning. I had to crank the ISO so dang high to keep the shutter reasonable. He was fairly cooperative.

Mine was shot at around 1/60. Small track, drifting isn't as fast paced around the corners haha.

Ben someone should donate a 400 2.8 to you, those shots are awesome! I've got a bead on a 400 5.6, hoping it can work out!!! :goingcrazy: Would be a great way to start the new year

Gage, great view you captured there. That might be a bear with all the wind in the open like that haha.
