Morning all...spent New Years Day recuperating[IMG]. A little too much of the spirits. But today is also another Eve...Retirement Day Eve[IMG]... Tomorrow is last day at the grind stone.

" Here's one for the Pa. guys, Mark, Paul, Tom. The one gas station owner said that starting today 10c a gal. extra gas tax will be put on. They were talking about 28c a gal., and probably will be incremental.
Of course gas has been going up, but anyone notice, or been told of the extra 10c tax as of today?"

Hey Carl, heard about that on the news yesterday. They also said that with the taxes already levied on the gas by the state when it is all said and done with the new taxes, PA will have the highest price for gas in the NATION[IMG]...even NY city. I guess they'll have the State Cops watching for people coming back from NJ and DE after filling up their tank like they do with alcohol during the holidays[IMG]

I love it when the "suit crew" come up my drive when I'm wrenching on something in my garage. I conveniently forget to wipe my hand and always give 'em a good firm oily handshake. IIRC last few walked past the end of the drive and waved. :notsure:

Hope the snow is manageable and doesn't create too much hassle for you Charlie.

 Race fuel in the Cadet. :burnrubber:

 these are hilarious! FWIW already applies more regularly than I like. Thanks Charlie. ;)

Happy New Year to your wife and you!

Afternoon, everyone! PA has to lead the Nation in something so it looks like gas taxes it is!!

Only about an inch of snow overnight - waiting for the next blast to start. That's supposed to give us another 3 to inches of snow overnight.

Doc, I have to admit I had to look up Sydney Crosby. My nephew lives in Michigan and is a huge hockey player and fan - but he's a Flyers fan.

We've only had maybe 2 inches of snow tonight. Maybe we'll luck out.

Took this shot of my chocolate lab enjoying the snow his way, today. That's Charlie, aka the Big Brown Butthead.

This was taken a few months before we lost Daisy, on the right. She was just two weeks short of her 15th birthday - June 6. Charlie on the left, Duffy in the middle, Daisy on the right.

This was taken during a photo shoot for Nylabone products. Duffy's picture gets used sometimes.

And my favorite of the Big Brown Butthead.

I think we ended up with about 4 inches of snow. I have to head out to plow soon so more later.

Good looking pup Mark. He's doing what I would like to do this morning by looking out the window at the snow. Looks like we got about 4 to 5 inches over night....off to work for my last day[IMG]. I just might have to make it a short one.
Had to ask my son who Sydney Crosby is( son is a Big Flyers fan)...Don't watch hockey. Be safe up there.

We had about 3 inches of the white wet stuff last night. Driveway and sidewalk are shoveled. Now it is on to church to clean a few walkways there. Our church is hosting the homeless this week under a Prince Georges county program called Warm Nights. I am very involved with the program. Due to the snow last night the patrons are spending the day today. I have 3 doctors appointments today as well. I will be very busy.

Nice puppy pics Mark. I miss both the mutt and the Irish Setter I had a long time ago.

Stay safe out there today guys and do not over do the snow shoveling.
