urd maf

has anyone installed or use the urd maf on there trucks and if you did was there a big increase in noticable power

 

They are highly recommended if you want the most out of your intake and exhaust.

 

how does the thing work is it easy to install where does it hook up too I wonder what the dyno whould be on my 2.7 with intake and exhaust looking for a header any suggestions maybe sema

 

I honestly don't know of many for the I4s.

 

The URD MAF sensor calibrator basically gives you control over your Air/Fuel Ratio. You can add or remove fuel where needed to get the most power out of your mods. There's 5 wires that splice into the ECU wiring.

 

air to fuel ratio where do you get specs on that data and how will I the operator of the urd know what to set them at Iam a novice when it comes to engine and performance enhancements.

 

You will either need to get a wideband O2 sensor hooked up or else you can use a dyno to get feedback on what the air/fuel ratio is.

URD can either send you a map that makes no changes to fuel (leaving it to you to tune it where you want) or they have a map available with their cold air intake system that will help to get a better AFR is your only mod is the intake. Everytime you add a new performance mod, you can go back into the software and retune to make the most power out of it.

Will the splicing mess anything up if u want to turn it back to stock. Is there a way to not have to splice into the ecu? Thanks
