nice meeting you too, its good to put faces to the rigs on here.

You're talking about the tailgate theft mod right? i have them on both sides, thanks for the heads up though!

and I think I'm gonna go with demello bolt on sliders, seems to be the least amount of holes i would have to drill in the frame.

Ahh, that'll help slow the thieves down. The one on the left side isn't doing anything since it's a solid "hinge" and not slotted like the right side.

After having bolt-ons I'd go ahead and just some weld-ons and be done with it. Mine creak and make groaning noises when I use the hi-lift on them.

i would prefer weld ons for that reason and because they are usually cheaper, but the truck is still in my dads name and i don't see him going for something that welds to the frame. I also can't weld and don't know of a reputable fab shop near me that could do it.

edit: just checked out your build to see what sliders you had, i like those since theres no drilling required and i saw first hand that they are strong enough haha

Got it! Too bad Famous Fabrication isn't making his anymore. No drilling, used all pre-existing holes.

Got a Husky 111 piece mechanics tool set as a xmas gift, I am no longer at the mercy of others for tools!

To do list before the Jan 18th flagpole run:
    order and install LR UCA's
    install CB
depending on how fast the nerf bars sell, sliders...

bought a super cheap magnet mount antenna from walmart but the wire wasn't long enough. going to radioshack tomorrow to see if i can get a different antenna and longer wire.

LR UCA's are backordered from headstrongoffroad  should ship out on tuesday though.

Got an antenna kit from radioshack today, used the rail mount and mounted it to the fishing rod holder i made a while back. Not the prettiest but it works for me.

I tried to use velcro but it didn't stick... haha and i drilled into the little cubby so if i absolutely have to i can just get another one where and how did you mount the microphone, I'm still looking for a place to put it. and thanks man, probably gonna stop mods after UCA's for a bit, gotta recoup some funds.

I've noticed a clunking noise every time its around 35 degrees or below outside. When i turn the wheel to the left or right theres a distinct clunk that feels like its coming from the front.

any idea what could be causing this or how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for the help
