ok i'm going to buy the meat right now before i go to work , i will buy like 50 to 55 pounds and put it in the freezer so it get like half way frozen an it will be good for saturday night i'm pretty sure that 50# will be enough for every one

Geez, what screwy weather. It's going to be nice and cold on Friday (52/37), but Sunday is going to be hot (77/58).

Edit: It looks like they just had a storm front go through with a bigger one coming up behind it. It's definitely going to be wet out there when we get there.

 

2 store thought bundles of firewood plus some at home. Plus a bag of charcoal. This should do nicely.

Plus i bought an axe and a splitting axe if we need to do any chopping at the campsite.

 

I just sharpened my axe. I have a maul, but I was thinking it wouldn't be necessary, but it definitely won't if you're bringing one.

Out of curiosity, how much did it cost you for the two bundles of fire wood?

 

Yea I got a couple bundles of wood from store also and have a good amount that I have already chopped, was for the smoker but dad said to take it since he hasn't used it.

 

The fire wood I was gonna bring is now soaked and not any good now so now I gotta try find some also does anybody drink reds apple ale I was thinking about bringing two six packs and I'll probably only have two or three so whoever wants can have the rest

 

Bring it anyway. It'll dry out if you put it on the fire.

 

53 pounds of meat , charcoal beer water done still have to buy some food for the other 2 days but that will have to wait till I get out of work tonight at 11pm and then get everything on the truck to leave at 6 am

 

everything is coming together, hopefully we dont get rained out on friday.
Im bringing my 10' x 10' canopy just in case so at least if we want to get
the grills going we'll have cover from the rain.

Got my truck all packed up now to get some sleep to leave from miami

Ill be driving up with ozman420. we were going to have tac1 and devil1 join
us for the trip but unexpected things occurred and i don't think they will be able
to join us. well see how it all plays out tomorrow.
