some of this, a little of that
When I originally bought my truck the mileage was terrible for the first month or two. After I got used to it the mileage improved a bit but not too much more than 17 or so in town and 19 on the highway. Have you considered a scangauge or an ultragauge? In the winter it is often 13-15 in the city so...

I have a '13 TRD OR Access Cab and usually get 19 mpg, sometimes a little over 20 mpg if I really baby it. I always use 87 octane and am easy on the gas pedal. It's an auto.

Are you auto or manual? How fast do you drive on the hwy?

2013 trd sport 4x4. I'm hitting around 19-20 (cheap gas) with mostly highway miles right now. In the summer I usually hit 21, but can hit 22 if I drive 65 on the highway. My commute is 85 round trip miles a day and I usually drive 70mph. My truck is pretty stock right now.

The first month or two was getting around 17 probably, so it does change a little. I've never hit 24 though...

I needed a truck and picked the Tacoma instead of the Tundra because of the MPG. Sticker said I should be at 17-23 MPG, and I do mostly HWY but not getting anywhere near that.

I have seen myself get 21-22 going 50-65... however, there's no way I can sustain driving at that speed (too slow)

I actually get worse mileage on the highway. My truck does not like to go 70-75mph and still get good mileage. I know my lift and Duratracs don't help but even on the stock Rugged Terrains best I ever got was 18mpg. 15-17mpg is what I get normally.

The only way I get the gas mileage I do is staying off the interstate and rarely going over 65mph.

I took my stock 2011 DCSB 4 banger to Mt Rainer and back then to work for the rest of the week, I averaged 24 mpg. The speed limit is 60 pretty much all around here, plus there's a lot of uphill ways on the route. Most of its highway though.

At 60-65 mph, yeah...I can get 20-21 mpg. But unfortunately, that's not really realistic on the interstates around here, where it's more 75-80. At that speed, I'm not really any better than about 17, and that's without any wind. I just drove home on I70 from Denver to KS (about 500 miles of straight 75 mph driving) and because there was a cross wind, got 14 mpg. That's a stock DCSB 4x4.
