Ya, they did a custom one for me based off of where I wanted I place them a light bar. I called them on the phone, emailed them a picture, and they made it happen... Some good guys!

Now that one person has done it, the rest of us do not have to pay the custom fee! ;) :tank: :shoot: :duel: :spy:

I had mine done about 6 months ago. I told them what I was looking for and they said they had done it just not put it up on the website. They don't advertise all their designs

Anyone happen to know if the Rigid Tacoma Bumper Mount Kit will work on the okledlightbars 30" bar?

Also, what kind of difference would one see in the 1 row 10watt vs 2 row 5watt bar?

Now to figure out if anyone has mounted their 3x3 6 LED lights in the stock fog location :D

Lol. My fault. Mine was like $20 shipped. I think that's about standard... Either way I love the thing!

As a rule, 10 watt emitters throw a bit further, due to a deeper reflector. If you notice their are very few (if any) double row 10 watt bars out there.

10-4 thanks. Now to find a winch mount that will allow me to mount a 30" bar in the lower part of the bumper lol. I really don't want to go to a plate bumper just yet.

Another rule, is to check the rated lumens. And also what lens of course, Flood/Spot/combo.. really all depends what youre wanting. My 10 watt 22" combo is great. I'm thinking of getting a 40" single row 10 watt combo, then another if I really like it and stack it right on top. Anyone ever see that done btw? I do know they make double row 10 watt but they are just shorter lengths, nothing in the 40-50" range. I just found a bar, china bar that is, that used 10 watt in the center and 3 watt double row on the outside. Kinda different, but unsure if there's any benefit other than lighting up only sections of it for a "coolness" factor, but no benefit in light output. But interesting to see different combos being crafted up. And interesting to see what other more reputable companies come out with.

Oh another thing, someone mentioned mounting led's into fog location. Got me to thinking about if its possible to disassemble say a small bar like this one
    [IMG]
Use the led board and reflector and mount that into a headlight with a customs shroud as part of a retro? Think that would work? I know thx housing is designed for heat dissipation but it can't be any worse than projectors.. just a thought.

You could get rigids kits that goes in the fog light hole.

I meant inside a headlight. I don't think the whole thing would fit, but I could probly retro just the reflector part that holds the led's. Just wondering how important the housings are for led bars and if they even really generate that much heat..

They can produce quite a bit of heat. I have several high end LED flash lights and they can quickly become pretty warm. I'm not sayin too hot though, a regular halogen bulb generates a lot of heat it self.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Wrapped up my auxiliary LED lighting a few weeks ago:

-22" Infinity Lighting LED bar(bought through Chris "Cayucos Tacoma") - 8500 lumens
    -Rigid Industries Dually D2's

Pretty happy with the setup for my needs. The Dually D2's are crazy bright for their size.

Used the 2 dummy blanks in the center console for my switches. I used custom relays so that I wouldn't have to run ANY additional power wire into the cab. The switches just control the ground side. My brother works as a mechanic for the county and highly recommended I go this relay route since it's similar to what they do on the black & whites, and helped me with keeping all the wiring install neat and CLEAN in the engine bay---"government standard" install I guess you could say.
