He is currently being a complete terrorist...he has seriously 10 toys of varying materials for him to chew on...and I have taken my toilet brush out of his mouth more times than I can count

My 6 year old 45lb mutt is scared of him and he knows it

My couch tastes delicious as does my table and my phone charger and my gf's sandals etc etc

This is all after running outside for hours

But at 10 weeks old...he can sit on command and is completely housebroken

I don't care for duck meat either, so I use my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever for upland birds ;)

On one of the hunting forums that I frequent there is a gentleman that is from SC and hunts a Boykin. He previously owned and trained a Master Hunter Duck Toller but has been telling me since 2009 that I need to look into a Boykin. He has the best picture of Tolling ducks I have ever seen which was done by his MH Toller.

Sounds and looks like a great Springer to me! And great pictures. I have a good friend that lives in Spearfish and we get together a couple of times a year. Including 10 days hunting around Eureka SD with several other retired military from all branches. Your pictures make me want to show up with a Springer next year. The thought has crossed my mind more than once.

Thanks dude. Looks like she loves the snow. Beau prefers nice weather, but e does have a blast trading around in the snow.

He's so goofy when he scratches

Do it! Springers are great. Awesome companions with natural hunting instinct. They live to please their masters. Lots of energy but he's a great truck dog too. Well, after the first 20 minutes or so!

It was a sad day for my family last night. We had to put our Zoey down. She was 13, we've had her for 12 years, since she was 1. She was a great friend.

That really sucks... Sorry for your loss. My parents lab Oakley is progressively getting worse and he's slipping a lot and having an awful time with the 3 outdoor steps... I'll probably be doing the same thing soon and I don't know if I'll be able to. I picked him up and half raised him. Tough losing such awesome friends

I'm sorry to hear hear of your loss and I agree, it doesn't get any easier. My oldest son has the collar from the last one, a family dog that lived to be ~17 it was a rescue don't really know. I've been thankful for every one of them that has owned me.

Thanks everybody. Zoey was also a rescue. She was rescued from a rough part of baltimore city. On wed., news years day my wife and i took both our dogs to a state park then on the way home i got them some pit beef, so she had a good day. She didn't show any signs of pain until i came home from work yesterday. I spent $877. at the vet last night trying to determine what was wrong and if she could be saved. They ran a bunch of test, blood work and xrays. They found fluid in her stomach and chest cavity, she was also enemic. Apparantly she had cancer and something ruptured internally. There was nothing that could be done to save her. Dibo, my other dog, is still looking around the house and yard for her, it's sad. We will rescue another pitbull when my wife is ready, Zoey was my wifes 1st dog. She loved camping and car rides.
