I installed my AVIC - D3 the other day and im having some issues with getting signal from my gps. I have the gps antenna mounted under my dash, but signal strength sucks.

I did test the gps antenna by setting it on top of my hood while i drove around the neighbor hood and received better signal, but im not installing on my roof. Does anyone have any ideas or does anyone know of a better placement of the gps antenna.

    Thanks

i installed mine behind the passenger side "oh shit handle" on the a-pillar and i get a great signal. u also need to make sure that the VSS wire is hooked up to help the signal out as well.
