but it was a very long, straight, and smooth stretch that we had prerun, and had folks at both ends, making sure no other vehicles came into harm's way.

the picture is of my 90+ run. i think i only hit mid-high 80s in the video because it was the first pass.

once you get older, you quit needing to prove things to people...

im not trying to prove anything im just trying to get from point a to point b in the quickest amount of time i possible can. although new seats would most likely change that. having a bad back and hip just makes it uncomfortable to be in the car too long. i used to enjoy long trips now its just a pain in the ass

getting from point a to point b in the quickest amount of time is dangerous for you, others and your son if he's riding in the truck with you...

I also think if you look into it, speeding only really saves you a negligible amount of time... is that really worth your life, or your sons, or somebody elses?

Sorry for the debbie downerism, but you young folks just don't get it and your reasoning for speeding is pretty stupid...

exactly. do the math on how much time you "save" by going 10-15 mph faster. you really aren't saving much time, and as soon as you throw traffic lights into the mix, you prett ymuch save no time. you do become very productive at burning fuel and getting tickets though.

    positive:
-save a minute, maybe two on your average trip.

    negative:
    -unsafe for everyone
    -burn more fuel
    -high potential for citations/fines
