If you are buying new, max the video card and memory out as much as possible. Video editing is really taxing on processors. I am running CyberLink PowerDirector 11 and if i dont take my time it will crash the program.

I don't computer well. Much ignorance software. No upboot data, so no gopro use.
I'm sure there's people on here who know things who can help you, though.

I might be trading in my truck for full sized. I've been poking around and a deal came up that looks pretty damn good. If anyone is interested in any of the 'stuff' on my truck, let me know. I'm not certain there will be a part out, if the numbers work, they'll get the truck as she sits.

    :flamesuiton:

I should qualify this, the suspension is excluded. I'm not taking any of the suspension parts off. Everything is too rusted on to mess with at this point.

I've been between an F-150 and, of course, a Silverado. I'm looking crew cab, 4wd and V8 (I don't want the Eco-Boost). The one I found is an F-150. I'm going to test drive it because I haven't been in any of the newer Fords lately and have no idea how they ride.

A friend of mine was trying to get me to buy this when I was asking him about touching up my truck before I trade it in.

    http://rodmancarsandtrucks.com/Bost...y/2014-F-350-King-Ranch-Black-Truck/21015207/

It as 35s and a full 8 inch fox lift with a bunch of performance stuff done.

Not yet, haven't done anything... yet :anonymous:

Still on the fence with trading. I'm likely going to trade at some point this year, this one in particular is just a good deal and happens to be what I'm looking for. I'm just going to stop by for a test drive at this point, we'll see what happens I suppose...

Wholly shit! I definitely don't need anything like that and at $63k, Rodman can keep that thing as eye candy out in front of their dealership

I'm partial to the loo of the Silverados personally. I was not rust impressed with our F150s we have at work

I've had a Silverado in the past and liked it. My dad has a newer one and I've driven and like it as well. I haven't been in a Ford in years so I have no idea what the newer ones are like. I could drive it and hate it, just trying to be open minded rather than put the blinders on and just go after a Silverado. The Ford does have some nice features.

Funny I was thinking about the same thing the other day.

Did some errands with the wife and baby, at some point he got fussy and she had to feed him in the backseat. There wasn't any room for the car seat, her with the baby and a few things we bought.

My brother had(traded for a f350) a 2010150. Really nice truck with lots of interior space. It was a pig on gas though

    I'd get a Silverado over a F-150.

I have heard good things about graphical work and Macs as well. I have no experience with them though.

Have you seen the interiors on the new Silverdodos, though?
I know it's all a matter of personal taste, but the interiors on the 2014s are UGLY. The steering wheel looks too small for the cab, and the way it sits in the console makes it look crooked.
And if it's older than brand new, every one I've ridden in has had rattles, squeaks, shimmies and groans. Riding in my dad's GMC drives me absolutely bonkers because of all the cab noises.

I did ride in a brandy new F150 last year, a 2012 model. Nice quiet interior and smooth ride, but it squatted about 4 inches when we loaded my dinky little Kubota onto a 12 foot landscaping trailer. Brakes on it were great, but the 4.6 V-8 had a harder time towing that rig than my Tacoma does. Or at least the transmission had to downshift a lot more. That thing spent more time hunting for the right gear than a full-size truck with a V8 towing 2000lb has a right to.
