    Got the tracking number for the CV axle. Supposed to be delivered today. Screw it. Going to just install it and then do the boots with Scotty tomorrow. Throw the spare in tool tub.

    Truck is up and running again. Scott did most of the work. Found where it cut open, right above the axle band on the inner boot. Scott showed me how it happens from the steep angle on the CV axle from the lift. The passenger side is pretty deeply scored so it'll probably be going soon. Boot kits should be in tomorrow and can get the spare redone and eventually slapped in on the passenger side.

    Well I just don't have $900 to burn on a kit let alone $1200 for the full kit with deavers

    I have officially decided to keep the truck, play with it and when I have to, pick up a second vehicle. I've spent too much time getting it where I want, some more things I want to do to it and I've gotten comfortable enough working on it. Next vehicle will probably a nice diesel BMW X5. I hope I get a few pay raises by then.
