It will make everything more dangerous much in the same way making 30rd magazines illegal has already made us all safer

BTW, those tax rates vary from municipality but are across the board the same otherwise.

Exactly. Since when this this nation turn into people who only care about themselves so much? As long as that tax goes to help me fuck those who use it and tax them onto the streets.

exactly, very good point. The science field is going to have come up with a breathalyzer type gadget for weed. Because as you state above, the needles are out. I wear contacts, and my eyes can get really fried by the end of a work day.
    Slippery slope for law enforcement.

On a second note, if you were a criminal that was dealing weed in colorado and said criminal is doing time for it, did they just let all those guys out of jail when the law passed?

No you are just going off on a tangent that has nothing to do with MMJ. Could be the side effects of the devils lettuce. :)

Good question, but since it is still a federal crime for weed I don't think so.

That's a good point, I think also it would have to be what you were convicted for. Who knows though.

If you're serving time for a crime committed before the act became legal, no, you don't get automatically released.

I could see that if it was like felony in a federal prison, but I wonder what they did for the state level dealers and little guys that were busted for possession. If its legal, I would think they would have to release them.

It's been legal to have since last year. Just this year you can get it without a red card.

Say for instance I was driving through an area where the speed limit was 35 miles per hour and I was going 45 and I gotta take it and then between the time I was supposed to pay the ticket and when I got stopped the speed limit changed to 45 what I still be guilty of speeding when the speed limit was 35 miles an hour

    Makes perfect sense.
I will be an interesting year in colorado this year. The entire planet is watching to see how this situation will play out. The Feds are no doubt watching extremely close. Especially if there is trafficking out of the state.

On another note, has anyone seen that in parts of Arizona near the border that people are warned not to travel there cause of drug and people smuggling? Small platoon sized of heavily armed smugglers "controlling" the area. And all our government has done is put up signs, WTF?
