new leaf pack + shocks made a world of difference for the handling at the rear both on and offroad. OME 885 suspension on the front (stiffer, higher lbs/inch) helped as well. Using 65 series profile tires on 17" if you are looking for on-road manners, in an LT rather than P tire.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
Added a non OEM sway bar to the rear of mine (I think it is an Addco Brand Ebay special made for the 5 lugger, but adapted very well with some work to a six lug), night and day, especially the body roll and really helps with towing.....

corners so much better with a stiffy rear, LOL...and Bilsteins all the way around....

I have been gearing up for a 6.5" long arm kit on my old cherokee. I mostly crawl with it, don't ever think I will ever need that much damping.

My valving is actually not that intense. I could get just as much, even more dampening with just a coilover with strategic valving. It's all about oil volume, shock fade, and on the fly adjustability. I can do 80 in the desert for an hour strait and the bypass is just barely hot to the touch. Clearly not an issue with crawling tho.

I've seen the AT's fill up with mud and become useless.
    I don't think the self-clean well.
I was running Michelin LTX M/S2s, 265/70 for light off road and getting up north in snow covered roads and I will continue running these on my 2014 DCLB. I was getting >80k a set, and I was happy with the performance both on and off road so I think it justified the price.
I do drive pretty fast on the road, and I believe tyres play a big part in handling. So does a lot of other things.
I've been easy on '14 Sport so far, but I like having the LB so I have a longer wheelbase.
I have had Chevy, Dodge, Ford. And yes, I think they drove better, maybe because of GVW.
I had a short bed Chevy that I could get a nice 4 wheel slide on ramps, or if I had enough traction, I could get it on 3 wheels(witnessed by a Camaro I was racing)! It was equipped with a nice complete Rancho system though, and BFG MTs.
But, I bought another Taco, so that says something I guess.
