I'm new to all of this. I have been looking how I should run the wires. I don't want to drill into the truck

I drilled nothing to do my instillation. Granted, it is still a work in progress...just google different mounting places. I have my antenna at the far back corner on the driver side. Used an adjustable hood channel mount to make it fit. I wouldn't recommend this though. If you want to put it there, use a proper tailgate mount.

You should look into Relentless Fabs hood Cb mount. I have it and it has done its job. Ran the antenna cable through the driver side firewall right to my cb. I'll try and get a link to you.

    Edit: http://www.relentlessfabrication.us/online-store.php#!/~/product/category=3368787&id=14437134

I think he also has a bracket that attatches to the corner side of your bed rails if you want to mount the antenna in the bed.

Also, i went the easy route and instead of dealing with connection to the battery/fuse box i just bought a 12v plug in for my power. I'm not sure if different cb's need more power than others but i have the cheapy $40 cobra.

Tuning it is the easiest part of the instal. The hard part, at least for me was to figure out where I could run the power & ground leads. I ended up going a little overboard and doing the blue sea fuse panel mod.. instal.. thingy. Worked out great.

If youre in SD some time I'd be willing to help you.
