I wash my truck- with mud.

But seriously, when I first got the truck, I was washing it at least every week. I even tried to wax and buff it, but wasn't doing any good. The driver's side quarter panel is too sun-faded for anything to help- it's almost white. In fact, all it did there was take off more paint. The driver's side of the truck is missing a lot of clear coat, and the whole truck is covered in numerous scratches, some of them excessively deep. There's no way I can make it look really good when clean, so I just let the mud stay. I clean out the bed and engine bay at least once a month, and the cab at least once a week, and I spray out the undercarriage every time I go through deep mud, but I never clean the truck itself any more.

I spend more time cleaning the undercarriage - frame and cab mounts than the paint.

I would really like to wash mine. I've only had it for a couple of months and every time my schedule opens up so I CAN watch it. This happens! Once the white stuff clears I always do a nice spray down especially the wheel wells and under carriage. Still. Looking forward to a decently warm and sunny day to really give a good new-to-me-truck-washing!

I can deal with tons o snow. This, however, made me thankful I was driving the opposite direction!!!

I wash it every time it rains. I enjoy keeping it clean.

If it isn't raining when I get home I'll spray it off before it has a chance to set

B.Turner, you are a sick, sick man. How can anyone keep the undercarriage of their truck looking that good? You sir, are The Master. I humbly bow in your presence.

A little of this and a little of that.
I like to wash my truck. Several years ago I plumbed an outside hot water spigot so I can have warm water during the cooler months.

a clean truck is a faster truck

I dont know why, but when the trucks clean it drives faster and shifts smoother.

I hate it! I do it because I have to. No other reason. Would sooner be getting it dirty!

It is therapeutic. it sucks, but the satisfaction is the clean truck. hand wash, micro fiber dry. meguiars cleaner wax and all that good stuff....clean the undercarriage. hand wash the wheels with a seperate rag. wipe down the door jambs and tailgate and the engine.

when it is time to get dirty it gets dirty, but clean is so nice:)

    anyone use Griots' products?
