60+ year old thread.

I had on long jons and gor tex from head to toe. And was still cold..Did stop a 1 and take the long jons off was 55 by then..That 15 mph wind was the killer.

Doing ok. Rested from the storms. More on the way Monday.
Truck still enveloped with snow and ice.
My unheated garage has no water on the floor. That's how cold it has been the last few days.. Heheheh

 

Stay warm... I can now, since they fixed my heat pump It was getting chilly in my house....

No snow here, but we'll have ice.

 

My sister in-law lost her heat the other night and the pipes froze overnight.
Been years since I've seen this...
Glad you got the pump back up...

 

Big temp changes are irritating for sure.

 

I do have a gas fireplace I could use during the day, but wasn't sure what I'd do at night. Thank fully I didn't have to find out.

Hope it doesn't cost her too much to get her pipes replaced, or will insurance cover it? And hope she can get them fixed quickly.

 

I have that problem at work... hot in the morning when the heat first comes on, and then cooler/cold when the heat is off. makes it hard to dress for work...

 

My bad. They froze. Not burst (as far as I know).
Was waiting for the furnace guy to get there and beat the shit out of the furnace. Heheheh.
No new reports as of yet...
Gas fireplace shouldn't be an issue. If its in the house it must have all sorts of house regulations for safety

 

I really don't like the fireplace due to it's a non vented one. ALL the fumes stay in the house and burn my eyes. I only have it for an emergency.

Good her pipes didn't burst. One less thing to worry about.

But it is warming up.
Pulled the rides out and going to try and de ice the bodies.
Shoveled out the garage before it melts.
Relax is the name of the game today.
Going to watch the freeze bowl tonight.
Love watching football in extream weather. Don't want no injuries but I love seeing people sliding 20 yards after a hit.. Tonight it's going to be a concrete ball and asphalt field...
6 day work week coming.

 

That game sounds like it will be horrible for the players....

No shoveling here, although I should be outside raking leaves... been lazy this year

We have been invited to indy with the 2000 GT.
it's a mega honor.
Just finished pulling the Opel GT engine to rebuild and mod.
Going to pull the rear pig out of the 2000 and overhaul it.
