give the gentlemen jack, its a try, a nicer smoother softer tastier version of jack daniels, the single barrel jack is also really nice but even more pricey jd

Some interesting drinks I'm seeing! I tried Silent Sam vodka last night after having it recommended to me by a vodka connassieur, and I must say it is the best vodka I've ever had, and it's like half the price of Grey Goose. I tried some on the rocks first. Smells like water, tastes like water, amazing! Then mixed with 7up and a couple of doubles later I was really buzzed!

by far the best was Heady Topper from Vermont. Next was Pliny the Elder and then Zombie Dust. We were lucky to get all these beers as they are difficult to find. I would recommend all 3 to anyone who likes hoppy beers.

I've always been a Tito's fan which is distilled in Austin, TX and have found it to be the best vodka I've EVER had. I'll look forward to trying this Silent Sam - where's it made? Have you had Tito's?

I've never seen a bottle of Tito's at my store, but I'm sure I can find some somewhere in my city. I will give it a shot.

Silent Sam is Canadian, from Toronto.

Love the Lagunitas, used to be a big fan of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. Lagunitas did a limited run of beer called Lagunitas "Sucks," that was great, too.

Favorite beer- Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

    Scotch- Laphroaig 10, 18!!!

Not above an infrequent G&T or Gin and Grapefruit

Vodka/redbull="Ruthless Juice," for those occasions when one must continue the festivities :)

Titos vodka is fine, but there's a potato vodka called Chopin that I could probably recommend over it... ice cold and straight.

Has anyone tried the Crown Royal XR? It runs for $180 at my store for a 26 ounce. There's a limited supply of it, it comes wrapped in this nice red bag and everything :) I can probably get it for like $130 with my discount but that's still a lot of money for 750ml of whiskey!
