I dont post on here very much, but big shout out to DOUBLLD for getting the lift installed on my tiny Tacoma.

 

Anyone here have experience applying Fluid film to their frame?

If not.....want to spray your frame when I spray mine? We could split the costs :0)

Nova guys, not Taco specific but...check out Mid-Atlantic Overland Society on FB, just a casual group and guys coordinate trips and trail runs. Also myself and another Local recently started up www.dirtroadtrip.com. Well be doing many more trip reports (many local-ish) and will probably eventually coordinate some group trips through DRT.

What up guys, I've been on the site for a while now, just got my truck lifted so now there is a new lifted Tacoma in the area. I live in Woodbridge, and work in Merrifield and sometimes work in D.C. Here are a few pics.

Looks good. What lift did you go with? Looks like OME shocks in the back.

 

Yep I went with OME Nitrochargers, 885x's with the 3/4 inch spacer, LR UCA's, and DAKARs with Spidertrax spacers all the way around. Bought the complete suspension set up and the Step Bars off the classifieds here for 1,000 bucks. I feel like i got a pretty good deal. I am running the Goodyear Authority 265/70/17s.

 

So I a had bad day on Wednesday and wrecked my 1990 Honda Accord that I used to commute to work. It tried to make love to the back bumper of an F-150. Due to the lack of collision coverage it is totaled in my book. Anyone on here interested in buying it and giving it a new home?

It still runs but it needs a radiator, headlights, and a new hood. It is a 5-speed with only 80000 miles on it and is in otherwise great condition. I can PM pictures to anyone interested or you can come down to Centreville and take a look in person.

In other news, the Tacoma is back to being the daily driver!

 

that sucks....good vehicle too. You're gonna miss the mpgs on that one. Not sure why you'd want to give an F150 a love tap in the back door....well, that didn't sound right.

 

I know! Got 35 MPG with that car. Hopefully I can find it a new home where it can be rebuilt. Someone has to have the technology.

 

So anyone want to trade me there stock throttle body for a 76mm tundra throttle and adpater plate?

I saw a dark blue 4 door, lifted, aftermarket front bumper (similar to a Relentless), and a snorkel turning onto Rolling Road in southern Springfield area by Ft Belvoir North. Driver definently checked out my truck as he turned....I tried to wave but didn't see if he waved back. Anyone here? Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Work stress has literally been taking years off my life over the past two months. Looking forward to Spring to get busy with a few more mods. I'm 14th in line for a HomerTaco Satoshi grill, too! Been on the list since June....it's about time! Take care everyone.
